Intention to Pass a By-Law

THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PAPINEAU-CAMERON

INTENTION TO PASS THREE (3) BY-LAWS

Notice Number 2

Notice is hereby given under the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, c 25, as amended, that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Papineau-Cameron intends to adopt the following by-laws regarding the abandoned CP Rail Corridor at its Regular Council meeting on May 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.

All Three By-Laws pertain to;

LOT 1-35, CON A, in the geographic Township of Cameron (formerly Township # 2);

LOT 1-10, CON A, in the geographic Township of Cameron (formerly Township # 3);

LOT 11-15, CON A, in the geographic Township of Papineau (formerly Township #3).

Being a By-Law to enter into an “Asset Donation Agreement” between the Corporation of the County of Renfrew, the Corporation of the County of Lanark, the Corporation of the Township of Papineau-Cameron, and the Canadian Pacific Railway Company, to acquire the abandoned railway corridor between Smith Falls, Ontario and Mattawa, Ontario from the Canadian Pacific Railway Company

Being a By-Law to enter into a “Lease Agreement” between the Corporation of the County of Renfrew, the Corporation of the County of Lanark, the Corporation of the Township of Papineau-Cameron, and the Canadian Pacific Railway Company, for the lease of properties located between Smith Falls, Ontario and Mattawa, Ontario from the Canadian Pacific Railway Company

Being a By-Law to enter into a “Co-Owners Agreement” between the Corporation of the County of Renfrew, the Corporation of the County of Lanark, the Corporation of the Township of Papineau-Cameron, for the long-term management of the CP Rail abandoned corridor
